Greetings from City of Glendale Police Department

Greetings all,

Under the circumstances I am sure that this was not the holiday everyone expected but I hope it was a good one none the less.  I just wanted to follow up with you all real briefly and give you an update.  Obviously the street has been completely re-opened, the ATF National Response Team has released the scene back to the builder and the over 50 agents involved have mostly returned to their individual units.

The investigation now is left in the hands of the local ATF office, Glendale PD and Denver Fire Investigators who will continue to work the case.  As some of you may have heard, the ATF released a finding of “Undetermined” for this fire.  I wanted to take a second to explain what that means.  It does not mean that the investigation is over; it simply means that at the time of the report, the cause of the fire is undetermined.  That on that date we don’t have a definitive cause based on the evidence that we have “today”, we still have items at the lab, interviews to conduct and leads to follow.

I apologize once again that I don’t have more details to give; I really just wanted to assure you all that we will continue to investigate this incident and the circumstances surrounding it.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns.
